We’re still setting up the tank, but I will definitely post pics when it’s ready! We actually went rock hunting today and found some awesome rocks for the tank. Sand goes in tomorrow!
Freshwater tanks are fun to set up, too! We have tons of snails and even I enjoy watching them move around the tank. :)

Yep I didn’t even feel a twinge of guilt spending $100 today on fish and supplies ~ the tank was “free” after all. It’s freshwater so nothing fun to share as far as exotics but they look cool and my daughter loves her new snail. Hoping you post pictures of the 100 gallon after it’s established. If they are here I haven’t found them yet so I’ll noodle around.

Really envious. We just got a freshwater tank set up (where we lived previously I didn’t have the water to have a tank and properly care for it without a whole lot of hassle so we went without. I grew up in a home filled with tanks so it was something I missed. A few months ago a guy at work was tossing his 30 gallon in the dumpster complete with stand and accessories – it’s only occupant died so we mourned for a moment, grabbed and growled ~ RIP ;) . Going today to get a few more fish. Will eventually set up for saltwater, my Dad is so anxious for me to get started but I’m just not there with with having the time to set up and maintain. It’ll happen though.
